I once considered the profession of being a doctor. The title "doctor" would make a person feel important. Now if this profession would be my passion I would take the role of an eye doctor. I would do what my eye doctor does. First, I'll have the patient get eye test with my nurse. There the patient would see different technology, including the eye puffer. I loathe this gadget now. but as a doctor I would laugh inside when I see patients suffering through what I suffered once before. Once the patient is done with the test, they would be sent to me. I would perform the eye tests, ask the patient the common questions, and if necessary I would give them a new pair of glasses or contacts. I would feel high and mighty with my white coat, even though I am but an eye doctor. Now this is never going to happen, but being an eye doctor is less bloody and painful to me. This is in comparison to other professions in the medical field, most of which require seeing blood and hearing annoying sounds from their patients.
Of course...an 'eye doctoctor'. Typical for someone who wears glasses >.>
ReplyDelete....kidding, lol. That was gonna be my second choice.
Suggestions:
'I once considered the profession of being a doctor. ' I suggest saying it this way, "I considered becoming a doctor once."
'...patient get eye test with my nurse' --I think you can spot out the error :)
Good story Haruhi, your idea is clear and straightforward.
