Carpooling, recycling, and planting trees are all activities that are good for the environment. Write an essay convincing readers to actively participate in one of these activities.
Today our environment is at a terrible state. From unexpected weather patterns to the pollution our resources are making, we are surrounded by chaos. Why is our environment so vicious towards us? The answer is simple, we have not treated it with care. This is why our environment is fighting back with vicious storms and natural disasters. How can we change this? As humans, our duty is to treat the planet with care - since this is our only chance of survival- which is why carpooling, recycling, and planting trees all are great examples of things that can be done in order to improve the shape of our environment. Carpooling is equally beneficial, however, it is the entrée since it can be done with less effort. Consider carpooling the simplest solution.
What is carpooling? An efficient means of transportation, where the minimum of two people go to the same place, in the same car. What does this mean? Instead of individuals taking a number of cars to work or school, they can all fit in one single car and go to the same place together. How is this a better alternative? The individuals all are friends, co - workers, and family which means that these individuals have each other to talk through the ride to their destination. This proves to be a better alternative to each individual driving alone from place to place. Let’s face it, driving alone tends to get dull at times. As an added bonus, those who carpool waste less gasoline, thus helping the environment.
How can carpooling benefit me? Ah, the dreaded question that many individuals have in mind as they lack the generous aspect. The answer for these individuals is the fact that carpooling helps the individuals save gas money. How? By carpooling with many individuals in one car less gasoline is wasted in comparison to each individual driving their own cars. This does not mean that the one driving has to waste their money on the gasoline, since everyone can take turns driving their cars. This rotational carpool system makes it easier for individuals to save money, not to mention that they will be helping the environment in return.
Is carpooling truly beneficial? To answer this question one must think of the situation logically. Does riding in a car with other individuals help reduce carbon emissions from harming our environment? Yes, in fact it reduces the amount of pollutants in the air we breathe. How? The numbers of cars driving our on the streets reduces, since individuals are sharing transportation with those they know. This simple system helps out in the long run because cars no longer pose a threat to the environment. Overall, carpooling is beneficial to the individual and the environment, so why not give it a run.
In conclusion, carpooling is truly beneficial to the environment. From the individual saving money to the number of carbon emissions getting released into the air, carpooling is a cycle of benefits. If carpooling is applied to everyday life today, then it would reduce the number of pollutants present in the air. By carpooling, the individual helps the environment in the long run, thus establishing safety for generations to come.
